Rift Fly Rod – More Than Just Good-Looks
The Rift series was designed with a medium-fast action that slows down the flex just a tad and allows more flex through the tip into the mid-section. We slowed down the action while increasing the modulus of the carbon making the Rift series lean, light and sensitive. Don’t worry there is still enough backbone to this rod to still make this a very versatile high performance rod. The medium action makes for great open loops allowing your line to turn over while nymphing with an indicator. This significantly reduces line tangles while indicator nymphing. The softer action also is great for dry fly enthusiast who are looking for the softest, most delicate presentation. Another solid choice that you can rely on in just about any circumstance.

Great rod handles heave streamer and double streamer rig. Great lake rod as well, able to cast 50+ yard with 30ft three fly rig and stay accurate. Good backbone able to turn big trout and carp.
